A general view of the ISR intersection region I4
The photo was taken when there was a changeover of experiments using the SFM detector. Obe of the rare moments when the gap of the SFM and a few of the multiwire proportional chambers which make the heart of the detector system could be seen (Annual Report 1983 p. 128 , Fig. 14).
