First results of the ring imaging Cherenkov detectors of the LHCb experiment
The LHCb experiment has commenced taking data from proton-proton interactions at the LHC with centre-of-mass energies of up to s=7TeV. Results are presented for the Ring Imaging Cherenkov Detectors during commissioning and with LHC beams, in parti cular on the performance of the photon detectors.
