Se ajustó una ecuación alométrica para estimar la altura de Carapa guianensis.
A los 60 meses de edad, C. guianensis tuvo supervivencia de 70 a 87 %.
El incremento medio anual en diámetro y altura fue 2.9 cm∙año-1 y 2.3 m∙año-1, respectivamente.
Es probable que C. guianensis alcance el diámetro mínimo aprovechable (40 cm) a una edad temprana.
C. guianensis tiene alto potencial para el desarrollo forestal en la región pacífica nariñense.

An allometric equation was fitted to estimate the height of Carapa guianensis.
At 60 months of age, C. guianensis had a survival rate of 70 to 87 %.
