Se evaluaron cuatro sitios combinando exposiciones (noroeste y suroeste) y altitudes (3 800 y 3 700 m).
Las series de IAA de los cuatro sitios de observación tuvieron una intercorrelación de 0.33.
El incremento de Pinus hartwegii se favoreció en la exposición suroeste y a 3 700 m de altitud.
La precipitación estacional abril-septiembre explicó el crecimiento de Pinus hartwegii.
La temperatura otoño del año previo se correlaciona con el incremento en área basal de año siguiente.
