Diez avenidas torrenciales se reconstruyeron a partir de evidencias de disturbios en Pinus ponderosa.
Las anomalías más comunes en los anillos fueron cicatrices (72 %) y supresión de crecimiento (20 %).
Existe sincronía entre los procesos geomorfológicos y los fenómenos hidrometeorológicos.
Los huracanes “Alex”, “Dolly” y “Claudette” causaron las avenidas torrenciales más importantes.
P. ponderosa tiene potencial para reconstruir la frecuencia y distribución de procesos geomorfológicos.
