Se evaluó el efecto de la lombriz Pontoscolex corethrurus en el crecimiento de Abies religiosa.
La supervivencia de las plantas fue similar (86 %) en los tratamientos con y sin lombriz.
P. corethrurus redujo la compactación del suelo (48 %) en las bolsas de plástico.
P. corethrurus incrementó la altura (28 %) y la biomasa seca de la raíz (44 %) de A. religiosa.
La lombriz P. corethrurus mejoró la calidad de las plantas de A. religiosa en bolsas de plástico.

The effect of the earthworm Pontoscolex corethrurus on the growth of Abies religiosa was evaluated.
Plant survival was similar (86 %) in treatments with and without earthworms.
P. corethrurus reduced soil compaction (48 %) in plastic bags.
