El presente artículo es producto de una investigación más amplia que se desarrolló en la Universidad Veracruzana. El objetivo es identificar desafíos a los que se enfrentan los docentes al participar en el PEDPA se empleo el método cualitativo, utilizando las técnicas entrevista abierta y observaciones en aula para la obtención de información. Se identificaron cuatro elementos que son necesarios ejecutar en la práctica docente para mejorar el proceso educativo.
