In particular, Artificial Intelligence tools, such as chatbots, have proved to be useful to support mentoring activities while improving performance metrics such as availability, level of knowledge, time and quality of response, among others. This paper presents the development, implementation and evaluation of a chatbot to support mentoring of the bachelor's degree in Administrative Computer Systems of the Faculty of Accounting and Administration of the Universidad Veracruzana.

Las tutorías en la Universidad Veracruzana son un instrumento fundamental para el apoyo y acompañamiento de los estudiantes en su vida académica. La contingencia por el virus SARS-CoV-2 impactó todos los ámbitos, incluyendo el educativo y puso en boga el uso de las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación. Particularmente, la Inteligencia Artificial, cuya aplicación se ha notado de manera significativa en el uso de chatbots, puede ser una herramienta conveniente para apoyar en la actividad de tutorías, mientras se mejoran indicadores como disponibilidad, nivel de conocimiento, tiempo y calidad de respuesta. Éste trabajo expone el desarrollo, implementación y evaluación de un chatbot como apoyo a las tutorías académicas de la Licenciatura en Sistemas Computacionales Administrativos de la Facultad de Contaduría y Administración de la Universidad Veracruzana.
