description The results of fostering literary reading intervention through dialogic reading are hereby presented. The main strategies were Dialogic Literary Gatherings, besides a Participatory-Action Research. 17 different persons with diverse university formation participated in it along 20 face-to-face sessions. The main objective of this was to promote the habit of reading fostering the critical and dialogical abilities of participants, and the search of reading materials on their own account, as well as the sharing of these experiences with friends and relatives. Particularly, objectives were to foster the pleasure reading of literature, to disseminate bookstores and libraries in the city, and to encourage the social reading experiences in the development of reading and dialogical habits. Printed and digital reading materials were recurred to, as well as movies, songs and images. It was found that the strategy used was favorable for the promotion of reading for pleasure, the development of reading habits and the strengthening of critical and dialogical readings.

Se presentan los resultados de una intervención para fomentar la lectura de literatura a través de la lectura dialógica. Se utilizaron las Tertulias Literarias Dialógicas como estrategia principal y se empleó la metodología de investigación-acción. Se atendió a un grupo de 17 personas con diversas formaciones universitarias durante 20 sesiones presenciales. El objetivo principal fue promover el hábito de la lectura, desarrollando las habilidades críticas y dialógicas, incentivando a los participantes a buscar materiales de lectura por su propia cuenta y a compartir sus experiencias de lectura con amigos y familiares. Particularmente, se pretendió fomentar la lectura por placer de literatura, la difusión de las diferentes librerías y bibliotecas de la ciudad, incentivar la sociabilización de la lectura, y favorecer el crecimiento del hábito lector y dialógico. Se utilizaron materiales de lectura en textos impresos y digitales, así como películas, canciones e imágenes. Se constató que la estrategia empleada fue favorable para el fomento de la lectura de literatura por placer, el fortalecimiento del hábito lector y el crecimiento de las habilidades para la lectura crítica y dialógica.
