In both of the title compounds, C(26)H(19)NO(2)S(2), (I), and C(25)H(19)NO(2)S(2), (II), the benzo­thio­phene rings are essentially planar with maximum deviations of 0.026 (1) and −0.016 (1) Å for the carbon and sulfur atoms in compounds (I) and (II), respectively.
