Caenorhabditis elegans Meets Microsporidia: The Nematode Killers from Paris

A newly discovered species of Microsporidia, which are obligate intracellular parasitic fungi, has been found able to infect the intestinal cells of the nematodeC. elegans and subvert their cytoskeletal architecture.
