The title compound, [Ni(C(4)H(13)N(3))(2)][Ni(C(4)N(2)S(2))(2)], has been synthesized by the reaction of Ni(ClO(4))(2)·6H(2)O, diethyl­enetriamine (deta) and Na(2)[Ni(mnt)(2)] [mnt = maleonitrile­dithiol­ate(2-)] in methanol.
