In the crystal structure of the title compound, C(15)H(12)Br(2)O(2), which was synthesized from 2,10-dibromo-2,2′-dihydroxybiphenyl and 2,2-dimethoxypropane, the aromatic rings are twisted by 35 (1)°. The heterocyclic ring exhibits a twisted conformation.
