Ammonium 1-hydroxy-2-naphthoate
The title compound, NH(4) (+)·C(11)H(7)O(3) (−), was obtained by slow evaporation of a 30% ammonia solution of 1-hydroxy-2-naphthoic acid. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming layers parallel to the bc plane.
