In the title molecule, C(12)H(11)NO(4), the two acetyl groups are inclined by 71.3 (1) and 46.2 (1)° to the benzene ring. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked into a chain along the c axis by C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
