Dichloridobis(5,7-dichloro­quinolin-8-olato-κ(2) N,O)tin(IV)

The Sn(IV) atom in the title compound, [Sn(C(9)H(4)Cl(2)NO)(2)Cl(2)], is chelated by the substituted quinolin-8-olate anions in a distorted octa­hedral geometry. The N-donor atoms are in a cis alignment as are the Cl atoms; the O atoms are trans to each other.
