In the title compound, C(8)H(10)N(2)O(3), the hydrazinecarboxylate group is twisted from the furan ring by 6.98 (17)°. In the crystal, the molecules are linked into one-dimensional chains running along the c axis by N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
