In the title compound, [Co(C(2)O(4))(C(10)H(8)N(2))](n), the oxalate group chelates two adjacent metal atoms, resulting in a zigzag chain running along the a axis. The Co(II) centre exists in an all cis-octahedral coordination geometry.
