7-Bromo-4-(7-bromo-3,3-dimethyl-1-oxo-2,3,4,9-tetrahydro-1H-xanthen-9-yl)-3,3-dimethyl-2,3-dihydroxanthen-1(4H)-one ethanol solvate
The title compound, C(30)H(26)Br(2)O(4)·C(2)H(5)OH, was synthesized from the reaction between 5-bromosalicybenzaldehyde and 5,5-dimethyl-1,3-cyclohexanedione. The crystal packing is stabilized by intermolecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds and C—H⋯O interactions.
