In the cation of the title compound, C(7)H(9)BrN(+)·HSO(4) (−), the amino N atom is protonated. In the crystal, intermolecular O—H⋯O and N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds generate an infinite two-dimensional network parallel to (001).
