In the title compound, C(15)H(11)FO, the configuration of the keto group with respect to the olefinic double bond is s–cis. The dihedral angle between the planes of the two benzene rings is 10.61 (10)°. The crystal packing is stabilized by C—H⋯π interactions involving both benzene rings.
