In the title compound, C(15)H(11)NS, the dihedral angle between the thiophene and 1-naphthyl rings is 31.42 (11)°. The molecule adopts a trans configuration about the central C=N bond. In the crystal, the molecules are connected via weak C—H⋯π interactions.
