In the title molecular salt, [Co(H(2)O)(6)](C(7)H(8)NO(3)S)(2), the Co(2+) cation lies on an inversion centre. In the crystal, the components are linked by N—H⋯O and O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, thereby generating sheets parallel to (001).
