Bis[μ(2)-1,2-bis(imidazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene-κ(2) N (3):N (3′)]bis[dichloridozinc(II)]
In the crystal structure of the centrosymmetric title compound, [Zn(2)Cl(4)(C(14)H(14)N(4))(2)], the Zn(II) atom is coordinated by two N atoms from two 1,2-bis(imidazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene ligands and two Cl atoms to confer a distorted tetrahedral geometry at the metal center.
