In the title compound, C(20)H(18)N(2)O(2)S, the indole mean plane and benzene ring form a dihedral angle of 65.0 (1)°. In the crystal structure, weak intermolecular N—H⋯π and C—H⋯O interactions link the molecules into ribbons propagated along [100].
