The complete molecule of the title compound, C(22)H(26)Si(2), is generated by a crystallographic centre of symmetry. The central benzene ring makes a dihedral angle of 26.7 (4)° with the 4-(dimethylsilyl)phenyl ring. There are weak C—H⋯π interactions in the crystal structure.
