In the title compound, C(29)H(24)N(2)O(2), the two aromatic rings of the tricyclic unit are oriented at a dihedral angle of 32.27 (8)°. In the crystal N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into chains along the a axis. Further N—H⋯·O interactions link the chains.
