There are two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(17)H(20)N(2), in which the dihedral angles between the aromatic rings are 30.34 (11) and 41.44 (8)°. In the crystal, weak C—H⋯π interactions may help to establish the packing.
