New Substituted Isocoumarins and Dihydroisocoumarins and their Cytotoxic Activities
New isocoumarins were prepared in an efficient way from 2-iodobenzoic acid derivatives and hept-1-yne in a Sonogashira reaction, followed by spontaneous cyclization.
