In the title compound, C(13)H(10)N(2)O(5)S, the dihedral angle between the phenyl and benzene rings is 86.7 (1)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked into zigzag C(4) chains running along the b axis via N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
