A new, enigmatic family for new genus and species of Polyneoptera from the Upper Permian of Russia

Abstract. Alexarasniidae fam. n. and Alexarasnia rossica gen. et sp. n. are described from the Upper Permian of European Russia. Systematic position of this enigmatic family within the infraclass Polyneoptera is unclear.
