The crystal structure of the title compound, C(15)H(14)BrNO(3)·H(2)O, has a trans configuration about the central C=N double bond. An intramolecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bond occurs in the main molecule. The crystal packing is stabilized by strong O—H⋯O and O—H⋯N hydrogen bonds.
