In the crystal of the title salt, C(6)H(8)NO(+)·C(2)H(2)ClO(2) (−), the 4-hydroxyanilinium cation links to adjacent chloroacetate anions via N—H⋯O and O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds; weak C—H⋯O interactions also occur between the anions and cations.
