In the title molecule, C(24)H(21)NO(2), the dihedral angle between the carbazole ring system [with a maximum deviation of 0.052 (2) Å] and the benzene ring is 38.6 (1)°. In the crystal, weak bifurcated (C—H)(2)⋯O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into chains along [100].
