Lack of Protection Against Ebola Virus from Chloroquine in Mice and Hamsters
The antimalarial drug chloroquine has been suggested as a treatment for Ebola virus infection. Chloroquine inhibited virus replication in vitro, but only at cytotoxic concentrations.
