Iminoboronates are efficient intermediates for selective, rapid and reversible N-terminal cysteine functionalisation
We show that formyl benzeno boronic acids (2FBBA) selectively react with N-terminal cysteines to yield a boronated thiazolidine featuring a B–N bond.
