description | The synthesis and structural characterisation of phosphine-substituted alkynylboronates is reported. In addition, corresponding alkynyltrifluoroborate salts were prepared that showed improved stability by comparison to their boronic ester counterparts. These salts undergo Pd-catalysed cross-coupling reactions with aryl halides. |
