Furthermore, phylogenetic analysis by maximum-likelihood (ML) method, based on the nucleotide sequences of 13 protein-coding genes, showed that the hybrid grouper has the closer relationship to Epinephelus akaara and confirmed that the mitochondrial genome is maternally inherited. |
