Preservation of Organ Function in Locally Advanced Non-Metastatic Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors (GIST) of the Stomach by Neoadjuvant Imatinib Therapy

SIMPLE SUMMARY: This study reports a single-center analysis of 55 patients with primary, locally advanced gastric GIST treated with imatinib mesylate (IM) preoperatively for a median of 10 months.
