Fast synthesis and redox switching of di- and tetra-substituted bisthioxanthylidene overcrowded alkenes
A rapid and efficient method for the synthesis of overcrowded alkenes using (trimethylsilyl)diazomethane provides a range of substituted bisthioxanthylidenes.
