Here, we describe an optimized protocol for isolating the female reproductive tract (FRT), dissecting different FRT regions, and preparing high-viability single cells from the uterine endocervix and ectocervix to generate a complete molecular cell atlas by scRNA-seq for studying normal physiology and disease.
