description In this study, ruthenium(ii)-catalyzed direct hydrosilylation of internal alkynes with high regio-selectivity and stereo-selectivity is reported. This approach features mild reaction conditions, low catalyst loading, air-stability, and good functional group tolerance. Furthermore, gram-scale preparation and some transformations of vinylsilanes were carried out, which further underscored its synthetic utility and applicability.
