In the title compound, C(12)H(9)ClN(2)O, the dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 1.78 (4)° and an intramolecular O—H⋯N hydrogen bond closes an S(6) ring. In the crystal, C—H⋯O and C—H⋯N hydrogen bonds connect the molecules into [001] chains. [Image: see text]
